Who is Sab?

Sabrina, or Sab, originally from Quebec, Canada, now resides in Australia where she has lived for over a decade. Despite being discouraged from pursuing art as a career from a young age, Sabrina has been an artist her entire life. However, it was only 3 years ago that she decided to take a leap of faith and introduce her idea to the Gold Coast, vowing to never look back, and launched a "Self-Love Paint and Sip" concept that blends her passions for art and women's empowerment, with a cheeky twist.

Since then, she has traveled around Australia, running over 40 events all states, reaching hundreds of women along the way. Her events aim to provide a safe space for women to step out of their comfort zones, embrace, and honour their bodies just as they are. The experience is designed to be seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. Sab's goal is to empower women through art, facilitating connections among them and helping them see beyond the unrealistic standards often portrayed... everywhere.

Get ready for an afternoon that's a little cheeky, a little soulful, and a whole lot of fun! Before the event, you'll send in a portrait of yourself — don't stress, you will receive some guidance on how to take the photo once you book. It’s nothing fancy or overly posed, just a photo that captures you. I’ll turn that into a simple outline sketch ready for you to bring to life on canvas.

On the day, you'll arrive to find your personalised sketch waiting for you, along with all the paints, brushes, and good vibes you’ll need. I’ll guide you to add your own flavour to your portrait. No art experience needed!

It’s a playful, empowering experience designed to help you see yourself through a new lens: bold, beautiful, and completely one-of-a-kind. By the end of the afternoon, you’ll walk away feelings empowered, and with a masterpiece that celebrates you.

You'll have access to the facilities for the day, and enjoy:

-Your very own pre-drawn canvas of your gorgeous self (if you choose to submit a photo)

- Everything you need to create your masterpiece: easel, paint, and brushes.

Plus, it's BYO drinks, so feel free to bring along your favourite bubbles! And if you want to make it even more special, you can add a night (or two!) staying at Boho Cartel’s gorgeous accommodation.

This collaboration is all about creating a safe, empowering, and joy-filled space for women to relax, express themselves, and celebrate who they are.

Once you've purchased your ticket we'll reach out to you via email with instructions on how to take your selfie and send it safely and confidentially.

Sab will pre-draw your portrait and have it ready for the event.

Only Sab will see your photo, and all photos are deleted once portraits are drawn.

Sab's events are a one off and spots are limited.
